Spain

Make a mocktail

Children will identify and prepared the fruit for their mock-sangria, select two fruit juices to mix together before adding the fruit to their cocktail glass. 

Engrave a mocktail glass

Children will receive their own glass, measure 100ml, 200ml and 300ml into their glass with water. Engrave measurements and decorate, ready to make mock-sangria at home.

India

Make your own Phirni 

Children will enjoy a taste of India by layering up their own Phirni dessert.

Step into a Market Stall

Children receive a shopping card with different fruits and vegetables and in teams have to collect items from their 'store holder'. The 'store holder' has to work out what other children are asking for.

Italy

Assemble your own pizza

Children use fresh made pizza dough to create their own pizza that they can take away in their own box.

Create your own Italian Flag Salad Box

Children will identify red, green, and beige vegetables and select their own to layer up in the sequence of the Italian flag, including mozzarella. 

China

Make your own ice cream

Children will identify common Chinese fruits and vegetables and attempt to transport them with chopsticks before making ice cream in a bag as a fun science experiment to see how to freeze liquids quickly.

Create a Dragon made of fruit

Children will identify different fruits including those originating from China. They will then chop pieces of their desired fruit to create a dragon inspired plate of food.

Mexico

Make salsa

Children will select their own ingredients, cut portions up, mix in with tomato passata and enjoyed with tortilla chips. Onions, pepper, cucumber, carrot.​

Avocado Monsters

Children will scoop out half an avocado, mash and then spoon back into the skin. Children will then chop different fruits and vegetables to decorate their own avocado monster.
