Easter HAF 2024

Updated: Apr 10

Kirsty and Andy had the opportunity to deliver a session of fun activities to children at a local Lincolnshire primary school this Easter half term.

Children were split into groups of mixed ages and spent a session with both Kirsty and Andy during their day.

Sessions with Kirsty saw children be tasked with creating their own spring garden inspired plates. There were lots of fresh fruits and vegetables available for children to use to make their spring creation.

Each child had the opportunity to learn knife cutting skills, use a spiralizer and learn how to use a melon baller with Kirsty at her station.

Andy's sessions saw children make a batch of vegetable muffin tray bake that would later be used in part of their spring garden plate. Children learnt how to weigh and measure ingredients and follow their recipe cards step by step.

The day was a great success and the children had lots of fun learning new skills and creating a plate of food that they could then take home.
