Andy attended Pilgrim Food Service to deliver a workshop to telesales staff.


Friday 30th October.


The telesales team worked in groups to complete the workshop session set. Andy supported the team with costing their own hotdog along with a side-salad using the ingredients available on their bench.


Each staff member worked out the quantities needed for costing their own single plate of food. Through discussion with the group, Andy encouraged staff to consider the types of venues or clients that may look at buying the hotdogs being sampled.



After costing their plate of food, each telesales member created their own hotdog along with onions and side salad, using the same quantities that they costed for. This enabled the team to learn more about the products and how they could be used in a dish.



Upon completion of the session, staff were able to sample their hotdog creations. Through doing so, they gained better understanding of versatility, texture and flavour; which they could then pass on to their customers.



Staff found the session useful as this helped to increase their knowledge and confidence of the products being sold.
